I’m Eddy Escalier, a Visual Designer working remotely from the Greater Seattle Area, crafting bold, brand-driven digital experiences. With 7+ years of experience spanning branding, web graphics, and digital illustration, I bring clarity, impact, and consistency to every project — whether it’s a campaign, landing page, or social media asset. I thrive on helping brands connect with their audiences through thoughtful design systems and distinctive, memorable visuals.
Influences
The Swiss design era, also known as the International Typographic Style, is a highly influential graphic design movement that emerged in Switzerland and Germany in the 1940s and 1950s before becoming internationally prominent in the 1960s. The style was a reaction against the decorative aesthetics of previous eras, emphasizing rational, functional design that prioritized clarity and objectivity.

My design approach is deeply inspired by the Swiss graphic design movement and its commitment to clarity, order, and timelessness. The work of Josef Müller-Brockmann in particular has shaped how I think about layout, typography, and balance. Alongside these principles, my extensive background in black-and-white photography and commercial studio lighting informs the way I approach composition, contrast, and storytelling.

Swiss Style & My Photography Background

I embrace the Swiss principle of neutral, objective design that puts clarity first.
Whenever appropriate I often use black-and-white photography in layouts to create focus and impact.
My training in commercial photography and studio lighting gives me a strong understanding of contrast, negative space, and composition—elements I bring into my design work.
Photography helps me create storytelling through imagery that pairs naturally with clean typography and grid-based layouts.
My Visual Approach
I design with grids, balance, and contrast in mind. Whether building a landing page, designing a logo system, or planning a digital campaign, I use Swiss-inspired clarity and photographic precision to create work that feels structured, intentional, and visually striking.
